“You know, the best president is, first and foremost, the president of your country. But today, it’s Trump,” Zelenskyy said.
He noted that history will provide the answer as to who was better, adding that Lincoln was the best in the US.
“Of course, history will provide the answer. Sometimes we live and don’t know. Sometimes we erect monuments to someone, and then we realize that person wasn’t such a great individual. So, it’s really, I think, not right to evaluate like that. Trump is a strong leader. Whether he is the best, history will tell,” Zelenskyy added.
