The process of separating the Ministry of Agrarian Policy from the Ministry of Economy will take approximately 60 days. This was stated by Agrarian Minister Taras Vysotsky, as reported by Forbes Ukraine.
An additional two weeks will be needed to prepare and submit the relevant resolution.
Taras Vysotsky clarified that until the reorganization is complete, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will continue to operate within the structure of the Ministry of Economy. For the agricultural ministry to begin operating in its new capacity, at least 30% of its staff must be transferred to it.
Additionally, the remaining funds allocated in the state budget for the agrarian sector support programs will be transferred to the separated agency.
The restoration of a distinct agricultural ministry will enable greater resource concentration on sector-specific programs, particularly supporting agricultural producers in frontline regions.
We remind you that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy resumed its operations on July 16. Taras Vysotsky was appointed as its head.
