In the AGROTRADE Group, during the winter wheat harvest, the effectiveness of wide-row sowing with 25 cm row spacing was confirmed. In certain clusters, this technology, along with adherence to the cultivation system, provided a yield exceeding 6 t/ha, with the maximum indicator currently at 6.64 t/ha.

The company allocated 11.5 thousand hectares for winter wheat. Currently, 1.3 thousand hectares have been threshed.
“The initial results indicate good harvest potential. The best yield is currently demonstrated by cluster 5 in the Chernihiv region — 6.64 t/ha, which is 111% of the planned figure. At the same time, winter wheat is showing good results on cluster 7 in the Kharkiv region. There, the yield of seed wheat is 6.24 t/ha and 138% of the plan,” the statement reads.
The company notes the positive impact of the technological solutions applied throughout the season. This includes, in particular, wide-row sowing of winter wheat with 25 cm row spacing, which allowed the plants to develop more uniformly and utilize moisture and nutrients better.
In the Chernihiv region, a good yield was also ensured by sufficient rainfall, adherence to cultivation technology, and the application of amino acids and humates, which helped the plants withstand stressful conditions more easily.
“Overall, this positively affected both the yield and the expected grain quality,” summarized Hennadiy Malyi, chief agronomist of the AGROTRADE Group.
